Director of Business Development and Strategy

As CRG’s Director of Business Development and Strategy, Dr. Moira Rivera oversees CRG’s short and long-term business development planning and business development team. Moira is responsible for company growth, development, sustainability, organizational development, and process improvement initiatives. One of CRG’s original employees, she has served in several leadership roles, including as a Research, Analysis, and Evaluation (RAE) Practice Lead, Program, and Project Manager for projects with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Department of State (DOS).

Prior to joining CRG, Moira worked as a Public Health Scientist for the U.S. Army Public Health Center. In this role, she served as a subject matter expert on effective public health interventions to Senior Army Leaders, led and participated in the ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of health promotion and disease prevention programs such as Army Wellness Centers, the Army Substance Abuse Program, and the Army Community Health Promotion Councils.

Moira, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Association for Proposal Management Professional (APMP), holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Virginia University. She is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the American Evaluation Association (AEA), and serves on the Executive Board for the Texas Evaluation Network.
